Start by checking the care label on your clothing for any special instructions. Always wash similar colors together to avoid color transfer. We recommend washing in cold water to preserve fabric quality and save energy. Choose a gentle wash cycle to reduce wear and tear.

For fabric-specific care: Cotton items can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on low or air dried to prevent shrinking. Wool should be hand washed or washed on a gentle cycle with cold water, then laid flat to dry to keep its shape. Synthetic fabrics can be machine washed in cold water and tumble dried on low, but avoid using fabric softeners as they can damage the fibers. For denim, wash inside out to maintain color and avoid frequent washing to protect the fabric.

When ironing, always iron on the reverse side and use the proper heat setting for the fabric type. For storage, hang wrinkle-prone items like dresses and blouses, and fold heavier items like sweaters to preserve their shape.

If you get a stain, act quickly to improve the chances of removal. Gently blot the stain with a clean cloth to lift it without spreading it.
